Our Story
If conventional treatment methods have left you dissatisfied, let the Hijama Clinic guide you back to optimal health.
Here at the Hijama Clinic, we use advanced and innovative techniques alongside effective ancient remedies to get to the root of your problem and provide you with fast relief.
Through a combination of modern science and our extensive professional medical experience, we are able to help you achieve lasting relief when other interventions have failed.
We tailor each treatment to your specific individual needs.
We know that no two bodies are the same. This is why we take the time to evaluate your individual body and its unique needs during each treatment.
Our goal is to not just treat your injuries and relieve your pain. We want to partner alongside you on your journey to holistic wellness in all areas of your life.
Our Treatment Approach
Our treatment approach consists of 4 key components:
1. Thorough evaluation of your entire body.
We believe that injuries do not exist in isolation.
We evaluate how your body moves as a whole to identify what is causing your current pain and to help prevent recurrence of your symptoms.
2. Optimise treatment for your specific needs.
Your body is unique and we pride ourselves on tailoring each session to address your individual concerns.
3. Restoring motion to restricted tissues and eliminating dysfunctional movement patterns.
Through our techniques, we are able to restore fluid and functional movement patterns that reduce your pain and prevent future injuries.
4. Restoring functional movement and creating a body that is centred and balanced.
We want you to be able to move just the way you want and feel good in your body.
Our treatment focuses on providing you a sustainable foundation from which you can continue to develop a healthy body.
Techniques and Equipment
In order to guide you back to health, we pride ourselves on using proven techniques and quality equipment to assure you get the best results.
All of our equipment is sterilised before use or comes prepared ready to use in sterile packing.
We use surgical grade equipment when appropriate and only use the most advanced state-of-the-art cupping devices.
• Dry cupping
Our polycarbonate cups are designed to allow for impact transparency, heat resistance, and weatherability. They are the most hygienic option on the market and have 150 times the strength of their cheaper competitors on the market, which assures they do not break.
• Wet cupping
We utilise single use sterile acrylonitrile styrene acrylate cups that are the most durable in their class so you can have a safe and enjoyable experience.
• Silicone cupping
We offer silicone cupping for massage, cellulite reduction, joint pain relief, and for many other ailments.
We have a wide range of cup sizes and variation in the thickness of cups that allows us to effectively treat a variety of medical conditions.
Each silicone cup is made from either medical-grade of food-grade platinum-cured silicone with no byproducts or harmful additives.
• Glass cups
We use glass cups for facial cupping and assure each cup is sterilised before and after each use. The glass cup allows our practitioners to effectively adjust and regulate the pressure from each cup, so you achieve the maximum benefit possible from the session.
• Wet cupping incision equipment
We use medical grade and individually packed single use blades that have been sterilised to provide safe and effective treatment.
Providing Holistic Wellness
Modern medicine focuses on treating your symptoms by using medications with potentially harmful effects. While these methods may provide temporary relief, they do not get to the root of the problem and often your symptoms return.
This is where our holistic treatment options at Hijama Clinic step in to help you find sustainable relief without all the negative side effects. Through our use of cupping and acupuncture, you can safely and effectively achieve long-lasting relief for all of your aches and pains.
