Wet Cupping In Manchester

Wet Cupping

What is wet cupping?

Wet cupping involves making small, shallow incisions in the skin and then using a heated cup to suction out stagnated blood and toxins from specific areas in your body.

• How is wet cupping done?

Your skilled provider will first use sterilised equipment to safely create small incisions in your skin in areas related to your pain and dysfunction.

Once the small incisions have been created, the provider will then use sterilised cups and place them over the incisions to create negative pressure by using a pump.

This negative pressure draws out stagnate blood from the tissues and initiates the tissue regeneration process.

• What is the aim of wet cupping?

The aim of wet cupping is to rid your body of the toxins in the stagnate blood to allow your body to create fresh and healthy blood to heal your injured tissues.

Wet cupping may also prevent dysfunction in your tissues and allow your body to recover faster.
